Applications are invited for a PhD student scholarship at the Institute Astronomical Observatory, Faculty of Physics, Adam Mickiewicz University, Poznań, Poland. PhD student will work within the National Science Center project “New asteroid taxonomy as a tool to understand composition of planetary systems” under the supervision of prof. Agnieszka Kryszczyńska and Dr. Dagmara Oszkiewicz. The subject of the work covers a branch of planetary astronomy connected with the asteroid photometry.
The scholarship of 3200 PLN/month (about 750 EUR/month, tax free) is planned for 3 years and starts in the first quarter of 2018.
A candidate for the scholarship should have a master degree in astronomy, physics or computer science. There will be a three-month trial period of the scholarship.

(1) CV with a list of eventual publications,
(2) letter describing research interests and the previous experience,
(3) transcript of records for both Bachelor and Master studies,
(4) two recomendation letters.
