Jubilee conference at the Astronomical Observatory in Kharkiv (Ukraine)

On 15 February, 2022 at the Institute of Astronomy of the National University in Kharkiv (Ukraine) a jubilee conference to celebrate the 80th birthday of prof. Dmitrij F. Lupishko was held. It was devoted to asteroid phometry and polarimetry. Due to the unusually tense political situation between Ukraine and Russia, our employees took only remote participation in it. Dagmara Oszkiewicz and Emil Wilawer presented talks about the studies of the physical properties of asteroids.
For over 30 years, this subject has been the basis of cooperation between our Observatories, and prof. Dimitrij Lupishko was its precursor. We have hope for further fruitful Polish-Ukrainian research in the field of small bodies of the Solar system.
