During the lectures (read in English) the following problems will be presented:
- Black-body radiation and stellar atmospheres
- Dimensional analysis and supernova shocks
- Degenerate gas and white dwarfs
- Order-of-magnitude estimates and black holes
- Eddington luminosity and AGNs
- Ideal gas and stellar dynamics
- Particle physics and cosmic rays
- Numerical simulations and cosmological structure formation
During the lectures Noble Prizes will be used as a guideline to tell the story of modern astrophysics. Some exercises, illustrating the content, will also be solved.
