European Researcher’s night
Since 2009, almost every year the Institute Astronomical Observatory of AMU participates in the Researchers’ Night.
Among others we offer various popular-science lectures, workshops (building a model of a comet’s nucleus, experiments with light, searching for asteroids on films and CCD images, constructing by hand a simple spectroscope and telescopes), presentations of astronomical software, children’s corner, quizzes and astronomical competitions, creating a model of the Solar System in observatory park, and, weather permitting sky shows live through a telescope.
